How this site is written
Sources, examples, and corrections.
ZombieMutex is Jeffrey Monica's personal site. Technical explainers, project case studies, and personal writing have different evidence requirements. This page spells out those distinctions.
Engineering reference articles
Reference posts explain public APIs, standards, or engineering patterns with links to vendor documentation and source material. Recent technical reference articles were prepared with AI assistance and clearly disclose that fact. Illustrative code, sample inputs, or test timelines are not represented as measured production results.
Projects and evidence
Project pages distinguish conceptual architecture diagrams from actual screenshots. Where a public repository or artifact is unavailable, the site says so. Forked GitHub repositories are labeled as forks, and private projects are never listed as public source.
Interactive teaching models
The browser labs use synthetic values and deliberately simplified policy rules. They are educational decision models, not real attestation verifiers, login endpoints, benchmarks, or penetration-test targets. Each lab includes limits and related technical notes.
Updating and correcting content
Technical details can change. Each dated article has its own source links, and revisions should reflect substantive changes rather than artificially refreshing publication dates. If you spot a mistake, send the article URL and a reproducible explanation through thecontact page.
